This post is for any lady who wears glasses either as a necessity or as an accessory. Many times I have heard glasses wearers ask if it is okay to make up on their eyes or not. The answer is a definite yes. So the questions that follow will be: What color the make up could be? Does the make up be light or can I put dark too? Today I’ll be sharing a couple of tips with you.
FOCUS ON GREAT SKIN
Make sure your skin looks great. You can achieve this using foundation, primer, blush and illuminator (or just concentrate on making your natural skin look great so you don’t to use all of that). When your skin looks good, wearing glasses looks deliberate, not like you just put them because you don’t have time to get ready( for those who use it as an accessory).
WEAR NUDE LIP SHADES
The nude lips are wonderful if you are a glasses wearer(nude lips vary depending on your lip colour, the idea is for the lipstick shade to appear as if you aren’t using any). They are perfect especially if your glasses frame is dark or heavy.
EMPHASIZE YOUR LASH LINE—NOT LIDS
If you wear glasses it doesn’t mean you can’t put make up on your eyes, but there are some instructions for glasses wearers. To look amazing, it is better to emphasize the lash lines, not the lids. You can put a black mascara – it looks really amazing, on the upper and lower lashes too.
But if you wear a pair of glasses without frames, you can make your eyes a little more dramatic with a dark eyeliner and light shadow, such as peach or beige. And the best combination with that kinda eye looks is a nude lipstick.
DO BRIGHT LIPS – IT LOOKS AMAZING
If your glasses frame is not colored, if it black or light brown, you can put on a colored lipstick. It will look wonderful.
YOU CAN WEAR A COLORED SHADOW TOO
But you must be careful about combination of colors. You can put colored shadow if your glasses frames are black and you aren’t wearing colored clothes. Also, you must pay attention to lipstick color. Colored shadow goes wonderfully with some nude nuance(shade) of lipstick.
Well, I hope you have learnt some useful info about make up for glasses wearers. So, all you need to do is to choose your fav combination and be stylish with your glasses.
