The eyebrows have come a long way. Style has changed from the extremely thin vintage look to the fuller shapes we have today. If your brows cannot achieve the full look, you can make them.

1930s
Eyebrows were very thin but had a high arch.

1940s
Eyebrows became more fuller with high sculpted arches in this era.

1950s
Eyebrows became fuller and darker with a defined arch in this era.

1960s
Eyebrows were shaved off and penciled back. It’s alarming to still see people doing this in 2016.

1970s
Eyebrows became more natural this era.

1980s
Eyebrows became heavy and bushy.
