JC Penney in their latest catalog showcased a white Worthington skirt ( pictured above) with a purple flower sprouting in between. Here’s how it looks on someone who actually wore it.
A lot of people have taken offence to this piece, saying even though the colour of the purple, it looks more like a mimick of a woman whose skirt is stained for her mestrual period (hence the name “Period Skirt”. This skirt currently sells for £22.65.
But the company has defended it’s creation.
